Aviva’s new Risk & Reputation service for cyber insurance policyholders

In today’s business environment, a positive or negative reputation can be achieved with just one click. Unfavourable reviews or negative publicity, whether accurate or just a hearsay, can seriously harm a small business or an established national brand.

Aviva and YouGov conducted a survey together with 500 SME’s taking part. The survey was on “how social media and online-based harms can impact micro, small and medium sized businesses”. 39% of these SME’s were found to be stressed by the thought of a bad review, and over 25% had been negatively affected by a bad review before.

Aviva teamed with RiskEye to guard against online risk and reputational harm caused by impersonation, ad scams, fake reviews, misinformation, and disinformation because they know that online reviews and a business’s reputation may have a substantial impact on their consumers’ buying decisions. They are offering their Cyber customers 24/7 365 security by integrating their services with Aviva’s Incident Response service, which is currently offered to their customers with a Cyber policy.

This expert can offer a mitigation and monitoring service to assist safeguard your business. When it is feasible, they work with legal professionals to assist in the removal of any detrimental online content. The service may include:
