When it comes to travelling for leisure, ensuring your safety and security is paramount. At Robison & Co, we understand that your holiday plans are important, and unexpected situations can arise. That’s why we offer comprehensive personal travel insurance to protect you, your loved ones, and your belongings, so you can relax and enjoy your trip with peace of mind.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, a family vacation, or an adventure abroad, our policies provide coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and more.
Travel insurance provides protection against a wide range of events that could disrupt your trip. It covers various unforeseen circumstances such as flight cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, or delays. With Robison & Co, you can choose the level of cover that suits your needs, ensuring that no matter where you’re heading, you’ll have the support you need.
Key Benefits of Travel Insurance:
Our policies cover:
From medical emergencies and lost luggage to trip cancellations and unexpected delays, our travel insurance is designed to keep your journey smooth and secure.
At Robison’s, our travel insurance plans can be customised based on your needs, but generally include the following:
Cover for emergency medical treatment, including hospital stays and repatriation if necessary.
Reimbursement for pre-paid trip costs if your journey is delayed or cancelled due to unforeseen reasons such as illness, accidents, or extreme weather.
Protection against loss or theft of baggage, personal belongings, or important documents.
Access to 24/7 support services for emergency travel situations.
With so many insurance options available, why should you choose Robison & Co?
Here’s why:
At Robison & Co, we believe that travel should be a stress-free experience, and our insurance is designed to give you the confidence to enjoy your adventures.
If something goes wrong during your trip, you will need to contact your insurer directly, their contact details can be found in your policy document.
Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM to guide you through the claims process and provide support. Outside these hours, you should reach out to the insurer directly, but we will still be available to assist you as needed.
Yes, we are able to provide travel insurance quotes for those with pre-existing medical conditions. We ask that you are upfront with our brokers about ALL medical conditions and treatment you have had over the last few years so that they can accurately inform insurers and offer appropriate cover. If you are unsure whether something should be disclosed, please inform our brokers who will advise you.
Ideally, you should arrange your insurance as soon as you book your holiday.
Your holiday doesn’t only face risks once you step onto the plane. Something unexpected could happen in the weeks or months before you travel and force you to cancel your plans.
It is important to know that while travel insurance is not mandatory, it is highly recommended and must be taken out before you leave the UK. Otherwise, you will not be able to buy a policy to cover you.
No, Travel Insurance must be arranged before you depart. Our policies are designed to cover unexpected events that occur during your trip, but cover cannot be purchased once you are already overseas. To ensure full protection, it’s best to secure your travel insurance before leaving your home country.
Yes, travel insurance is just as important for short trips, as unexpected events like flight cancellations, lost luggage, or medical emergencies can still occur. Our policies can be tailored to cover a single trip for a specific duration or provide annual cover for frequent travellers. Coverage may also depend on factors such as age, as some insurers may have limitations for extended travel beyond 14 days for certain age groups. It’s always best to choose a policy that matches your travel plans to ensure you’re fully protected.
It is recommended that you have travel insurance for all trips, however, there are certain countries that have made travel insurance mandatory for entry, or to obtain a visa.
These countries include, but are not limited to, Cuba, Turkey, Qatar, Iran, Morocco, Thailand, UAE, Togo, Algeria, Romania, Croatia, Moldova, Georgia, Aruba, Cambodia, Lebanon, Seychelles, Antarctica.
The guidance regularly changes, so it is important to check the FCDO travel advice website for updates and entry/visa requirements before travelling.

Helped me with business insurance as my current provider were playing silly games. I like the fact Danny could interrogate the policy wording to ensure I was properly protected. Thank you for all your time and help.
